SENIOR SOFTBALL LEAGUE

FOR MEN 60 YEARS AND OLDER

The league plays in Marion on Thursday evenings at Kennedy Park

This is a draft league.  All previous and new players are drawn from a single pool by team representatives.  This creates balance and the opportunity to meet more players in the league.  The season begins the second Thursday in May.  The park is one mile east of Rt. 23 on Rt. 309.  Senior League rules include 11 fielders, a special runner's home plate and courtesy runners once the batter has reached base safely if needed.  All team members bat and there is free substitution.

Anyone is eligible who is at least 60 years old any time during the year of play.

The draft  will take place the second week in March.  Individuals can register by calling (740) 387-5446 or visiting the Marion Recreation Department at 240 W Church St., behind City Hall.
